Hello,

I'm new to this forum and I wanted to say hi. I'm a junior collector (only been into numismatics less than a year now) and mainly I collect Third Reich coins and banknotes.

Occasionally I also gather other old european coins and items. Thus, I'd need some help with one coin that I suspect is a Medal. Here is a photograph of it:

Now, anyone, who has some knowledge about this Shooting Medal (?), please let me know everything you know. If someone also has an idea about the value of this item, I'd appreciate knowing it too.

Thank you,
-JJ-

PS. If someone would like to translate this question and post it with this picture to Medaillen-section, that would most likely help too. I'd do it myself, but my german is so schlect that I decided to enter this to "foreign section" :)

Hi JJ

You are right. This is really a shooting medal.

Kingdom of Saxonia
King Albert (1873-1902)
